Welcome to VOILA!

Everything starts with projects. A project can be a language, a topic (e.g., "Holiday"), or a lesson chapter.

• Enter a name in the New Project Name field.
• Click the Create Project button.

Open a project, then click the ☰ icon in the top right (or menu on mobile).

In the Add New Word menu:

1. Type the native word (e.g., English).
2. Use the Translate (Beta) button for auto-translation.
3. Or type the meaning manually and select the article (le, der, el, etc.).

Made a mistake? You can edit words or switch languages anytime.

• Click the Edit (pencil icon) next to a word in your list.
• Modify the text or change the article.
• Wrong order? Use the Swap button to instantly switch the Native and Foreign words.

Have words in Excel or Notes? Copy them and use the Paste from Clipboard button in the menu.

Format: word@translation#article

Examples:

• dog@chien#le (Dog - Chien - masculine)
• apple@manzana (no article)
• house@Haus#das; cat@Katze#die (multiple words separated by semicolon)

Cards show the known word first. Click to flip!

• Click: Flip card.
• "x" button: Hide card temporarily (if learned).
• Shuffle: Randomize order.
• Reset: Bring all hidden cards back.

Tip: You can enable "Spacebar flipping" in Settings!
